Preston Pain Management Partnership provides a variety of pain treatments to private patients.

We are based at the Ramsay Fulwood Hall Hospital where we offer consultations, minor outpatient treatments and pain interventions in the operating theatres.

If you are not already a patient, and would like an initial consultation, please ask your doctor to refer you. We are pleased to accept referrals from both General Practitioners and other specialists.

In exceptional circumstances we will see patients without a letter of referral but will always insist that you allow us to send copies of clinical correspondence to your GP.

Existing patients do not require any further referral: simply contact Outpatient Booking at Fulwood Hall Hospital.

Some consultants do insist that patients who have not been seen for twelve months need to be re-referred: this is not our policy. The booking staff at Fulwood Hall may not be aware of this; please ask them to check here!

On this site you will find brief biographies of the consultants who, together, make up PPMP as well as details of the treatments that we are able offer.

In the fees section, you may read our scale of charges and see our terms of business.

Solicitors may find the legal services section to be of interest.

We are not able to offer treatment as part of the NHS choose-and-book system: information regarding our relationship with the NHS is contained on this page.

Detailed contact information is provided through this link, while general information on the subject of chronic pain, and links to other websites where there is useful information for pain sufferers, can be found here.

PainDoc is Dr Hacking's own website. It provides general information on the subject of chronic pain.

With the increasing popularity of internet banking, many people wish to settle their bills this way. We're delighted to oblige but ask that you please use a reference which identifies you clearly, for obvious reasons.
